Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Maryland & Colorado

All parts of you are welcome here.

Many of my clients come to therapy after years of holding everything together for everyone else. You may be navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or relationship patterns that leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to care for yourself in the ways you care for others.

I offer a warm, conversational space where teens and adults can show up as their full selves without needing to filter, perform, or explain away their experiences. Together, we look beneath the surface to understand the patterns shaping how you think, feel, and relate, so things start to make more sense and feel less overwhelming.

Alongside my work as a therapist, I’ve taught both Psychopathology and Social Psychology at Loyola University Maryland while actively seeing clients. This means I’ve spent years both studying and working with the same patterns many people struggle with, from anxiety and emotional overwhelm to attachment dynamics, identity, and relational patterns. My focus has always been helping people make sense of what’s going on internally and interpersonally in a way that feels clear, human, and actually usable.

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), attachment-based work, somatic practices, and person-centered therapy. In session, this might look like learning how to regulate your nervous system, getting curious about different parts of you, or untangling beliefs that once helped you survive but no longer serve you.

I work with teens (13+), young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, complex trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and attachment patterns. Many of my clients are used to being the “strong one,” and are ready to stop just coping and start understanding themselves in a deeper, more sustainable way.

As a Black woman with lived experience of ADHD, I’m especially mindful of how identity, culture, and systems shape our mental health and relationships. I aim to create a space that feels affirming, curious, and grounded in real connection. By showing up as my authentic self, my hope is that you feel invited to do the same.

I stay actively engaged in ongoing learning, teaching, research, and trauma-informed training. Outside of the therapy room, I value slowing down and staying connected to what helps me feel grounded, including spending time outdoors and taking long walks with my dog.

I believe therapy works best when it feels human: thoughtful, collaborative, and sometimes even a little humorous! You are the expert on your own story. My role is to walk alongside you to help you understand it more clearly, so you can move through your life with more steadiness, intention, and self-trust.

If you're looking for therapy that feels collaborative, grounded, and centered on helping you make sense of your experiences, I’d be honored to support you in your healing journey.
