Anxiety Therapy in Maryland

Minimalist illustration of a person feeling mentally overwhelmed and anxious

Maybe this feels familiar:

  • You overthink, replay, or second-guess yourself constantly

  • You feel on edge, restless, or easily overwhelmed

  • You struggle to relax or “turn your brain off”

  • You feel pressure to hold it all together

When your mind won’t slow down, everything starts to feel like too much.

Anxiety can show up in ways that are hard to explain. Overthinking everything. Feeling on edge. Struggling to relax even when nothing is “wrong.” Constant pressure to keep it together. You might look like you’re functioning well on the outside while feeling overwhelmed internally.

In our work together, we slow things down and begin to understand what your anxiety is trying to communicate. Rather than just pushing it away, we build tools to help you regulate your nervous system, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and create more space for ease.

Together, we’ll identify your triggers, notice patterns, and explore how your thoughts, emotions, and body are all connected. We’ll also explore deeper layers, including perfectionism, fear of letting others down, and the ways your past experiences may still be shaping how you respond today.

I provide anxiety therapy using evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT, along with nervous system regulation and mindfulness-based strategies. This might look like learning how to respond to anxious thoughts differently, feel steadier in your body, and move through situations that used to feel overwhelming with more confidence.

Over time, you can feel more in control, more present, and less consumed by anxious thoughts.

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you.”
